Over the next few weeks you can follow the story of ‘Eight Thirty’ ‘Eight Thirty is a Yanagisawa Japanese Baritone Sax built in the late 1970’s. It has arrived in good shape with very minor dents which will easily be removed, excellent keywork with virtually no movement between post and rods. Shocking lacquer but no pitting. So far (see pictures) ‘Eight Thirty’ has had all keys removed,lacquer removed and an acid bath Next will be repad, buff,re-lacquer, new springs will be up for sale soon I will keep you posted why Eight Thirty’ ...............that’s the serial number Mick Morgan
