Over 30 years as an educator Mick has taught countless students and directed ensembles of all genres and levels, from well established programs to beginner or wavering agenda’s.
Mick’s approach can offer all involved a ‘Fresh’ look whilst supporting the schools Instrumental Music teachers’ concept.

Mick can work with your students and strengthen practical aspects such as, embouchure development, tonguing techniques, air control, compass extension, tonality, fluency, vibratos,
method book suggestions, extended repertoire selection, senior extension music program assistance (sax/flute/clarinet) home practice incentives & processes.
Mick appreciates the education system in both government & private schools, especially for those teachers having to become Multi Instrumental Teachers with little or no advisory help on hand, in particular schools in regional areas.
A typical day ‘could’ run like this
Concert Band rehearsal (2 hours)
Group lessons (2 hours)
Address to all students (1 hour of your choice of topic questions & answers)
Sectionals (1 hour)
Jazz/Stage Band rehearsal (90minutes)
